K'taka rebels hide in Kochi to avoid negotiations
The dissidence in Karnataka continued with the rebel MLAs moving to Kochi in order to dodge any attempt of negotiation by Chief Minister b S yeddyurappa. Meanwhile the first round of talks with the MLAs failed with the rebels demanding a change in leadership in Karnataka.
Yeddyurappa had said that he would take the floor test on October 11th and prove his majority. His emissary Janardhan Reddy who returned after holding talks with the rebels says the crisis would be over in another two days.
The congress in Karnataka as a precautionary measure had now moved all it's MLAs to an undisclosed location to prevent any sort of horse trading.
