Sources said that Farooq who is originally from Kerala was an associate of Bangalore blast prime accused T Nasir. His was present from the planning stages itself and had supplied the ammunition a couple of days prior to the blasts.

From Bangalore he is alleged to have moved back to Kerala and then took shelter in Rajasthan when the heat on him increased.
